Heisenberg Humans

The Heisenberg uncertainty principle, a fundamental tenet of how we measure and observe the subatomic world, applies to humans as well. It isn’t surprising; we are built from the quantum realm.

We act as both waves and particles do. Like waves, we are messy and untethered when no one is watching. Like particles, we collide, rebound, and ultimately unite when the lights are on. We are built to change, adapt, and love in countless directions.

We embrace both sides. We need both sides to stay sane and beautiful. That’s perhaps the duality of man.

And just as Heisenberg found with his photons, no one can accurately predict the exact location and trajectory of our heart at the same time. Don’t others constantly keep you guessing? It could drive you mad.

Don’t let it. You’re simply witnessing one of the wonderful things that makes us unique.
