Civil War

Civil wars don’t need to include bayonets and uniforms. We need to open our eyes to the stark diffusion of people and ideas into distinct pockets, with neither party willing to bend. Furious anger further divides. Regret, the grand gesture of inaction, replaces repentance every day, paralyzing us against unison. The haunting lullabies of media tuck each side to sleep.

We are separate and neither faction sees the other as equal. The poisons run through the digital streams, slowly taming us. Then one day, as if by madness, a signal will come to awaken us to what has occurred and it will be too late.
